REGULATION OF THE DELF DALF EXAMINATION
Enrolment to a DELF/DALF examination
During the enrolment dates established by the annual calendar, the candidates can either enrol online or in person at the Alliance
Française. The candidates can enrol for any level of their choice. In case this is their first enrolment for a DELF/DALF examination,
they will be assigned a candidate number, valid in any DELF/DALF centre for examinations posteriors. If the candidates re-enrol to sit
for another DELF/DALF examination, then they should provide their candidate number previously assigned. No enrolment will be accepted
after the deadline, as announced in the annual calendar. No refund can be made under any circumstance, unless the
examination centre has to cancel the session.
The day of the DELF/DALF examination
The candidates must arrive at least 15 minutes before the exam begins, with an official ID and a black or blue pen (pencils will not be
accepted). Before starting the exam, the candidates must check carefully their registration form and make corrections clearly if
necessary. Once the exam has started, no candidate will be allowed to enter the exam room. Cell phones and tablets must be turned off
during the exam. Every candidate must stay until the end of the exam, even if they have finished it before the ending time.
The day of the results
The candidates will be able to know his/her results 3-4 weeks after having presented the exam. The candidates will be advised by e-mail
when the results are available. If the candidate presented the exam with their school, the teacher will be allowed to pick up the
results. Once the certificate or diploma have been delivered, the examination centre will not deliver any replacement of it in case of
loss, only the CIEP can deliver one.
Rights of the candidates
Every candidate must be treated with respect and dignity. The evaluation must be conformed to the regulation established by the CIEP (www.ciep.fr/delfdalf).
In case the candidates do not obtain their diploma, there will be no appeal possible.
